HOME | FIRESLAYER CHALLENGE TECHNICAL SUPPORT
***Although it's not necessary to have an Internet connection to play the game, you will not be able to view your score without an Internet connection. For the best game experience, we recommend playing the game on a computer that has an active Internet connection. ***
  1. Click the "Download Game" button to install the game to your computer.
  2. Choose "Run" when prompted to Run or Save the file, then follow the prompts to complete the installation.
  3. By default, after it is installed, you will find the game under your Start menu in Programs, MSA, Fireslayer – Thermal Response 2.
  4. Fill in the necessary fields at the game's login screen. You will only get the START button after filling in the required fields. Check the box if you’d like an MSA salesperson to contact you regarding MSA products.
  5. Each time you play, your scores will automatically be saved and all scores will be displayed on the http://www.fireslayer.com website in real time each time you quit the game -- IF YOUR COMPUTER HAS AN ACTIVE INTERNET CONNECTION.
NOTE: The game is also playable using the Logitech Dual Action PC Gamepad Controller. (Game Controller must be plugged in before starting the game.)

For the best playing experience, here are the suggested computer specifications for MSA's Fireslayer Challenge video game:

RAM:
512 MB or Greater

If you can load the game, but it will not run, you may see a window titled ‘Sim Ops Studios Application Error Upload” displayed that indicates you encountered an error and that it is collecting information about the problem. If you have an active Internet connection you may choose to automatically send this information to us for analysis.

If the above error analysis window is not displayed, then you can manually collect the necessary information about the problem by:
  1. Open a command window (by selecting 'Run' from the Start menu and typing 'cmd')
  2. Copy the log to the C: drive by typing the following in the command window:
  3. Copy %TEMP%\msa-thermalresponse2.log C:\
  4. From the Start menu, select "My Computer."
  5. Open the C: drive (usually named "Local Disk"). In that window will be a text file named "msa-thermalresponse2.log"
  6. E-mail the "msa-thermalresponse2.log" file to susie.sapsara@msanet.com. This file will help us find the problem.
